Mrs. Leslie Flemings McCallister “The L” was the last born child of Martha Flemings and the late Coy Flemings, Jr on March 29, 1971. She joined Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church at a young age.

Leslie better known as “The L” was a graduate of Headland High School c/o 1989 and a Registered Nurse of many years. Leslie was the glue that held the family together, that “Make it Happen Sista”. Leslie loved her husband, children/grandchildren, family more than anything. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren “3 Live Crew”. Leslie loved hard and knew what the true meaning of FAMILY. She was the the youngest sibling but took care of the family as if she was the oldest. Leslie was our mouthpiece, provider and protector. She loved couponing, hanging with her best-friend LaRhonda, and was an AWESOME nurse. Leslie “The L” was truly amazing and for that she will be missed dearly.

Mrs. McCallister was preceded in death by her father: Coy Fleming Jr,; Uncle: Terry Holston; Cousin: Pamela Jackson; Dog: Beast.

Leslie McCallister leaves to cherish her memories: her husband: Andre Lashawn McCallister, her children: Charese Marchell Flemings (Sam), Christian Deandre McCallister; her               grandchildren: Aubrie Nevaeh Flemings, Ava & Amari Thomas; her mother: Martha Jewel Flemings; her siblings: Marcia Ann Small (Henry), Keith Edward Thornton (Jennifer), Steven Karl Thornton (Linda), Niece & Nephew: Jordon Small, Jela Thornton and Amber Thornton; special cousins: Barbara Jackson, Angela Newsome, Andre Bonds; best-friend: LaRhonda Powe; special friend: LaTunya McKay; godchildren: Porsha and Malik Jackson; special aunt, Eva Lou Fleming; mother-in-law, Patricia McCallister and a host of family, friends and coworkers.
