Darna Faye Jones

Darna Faye Jones, a true woman of God, transitioned to her final resting place on May 9, 2026 in Dothan, Alabama. She was born February 5, 1950 in Evergreen, Alabama to the late Sampy and Mary Moye. She was the youngest sister of 11 siblings. She was a wife, a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, an aunt, and a mentor to many.

Darna was well known for her remarkable skills in culinary arts. Also known for being an awesome seamstress, who could create anything. An anointed evangelist and soloist. She was an eloquent speaker and a true fashionista! She touched so many lives through ministry and loved uplifting others through the word of God. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and took pride in family time. Her impact in this world will be treasured and her legacy will continue through her children.

Darna was a faithful member of Eagles Domain Christian Fellowship and enjoyed attending the services. She loved to be amongst the saints and took delight in worshipping the Lord.

Memories of her will be held dear by her husband, Mr. Joseph Jones and their children, Marvin Finkley,Jr., Joseph Lee Jones, Jasmin (Aulbrey) Goff, Katina (Charlie) Jones-Sanders and Josephine (Tony) Williams-Myrik; her grandchildren, Marvin Dunson, Aaliyah Grace, Kabrina Perkins, Deantre Porter, Ticharia Porter, Josiah Jones, Joniyah Jones, Joziyah Jones, Jovon Jones, Malachi Moye, Jamirah Moye, Andrew Moye, Ishani Goff, Kiara McClellan, Tony Myrik, and Anita Ward; her siblings, Daniel Moye, Allen Moye, Kenneth (Karen) Moye, and Nell Dailey; a host of other relatives and friends.
