Dorothy Mpouli

Dorothy Hudspeth Mpouli departed this life on January 3, 2020 at Southeast Health after an extended illness.

Dorothy Hudspeth Mpouli was born January 20, 1943 to Johnny and Rachel Hudspeth in Dothan, AL. She attended school in Dothan, AL until 10th grade and later returned and completed her GED. She was known for her good cooking and cooked at several restaurants and also worked in the elementary school cafeteria. Dot had a caring heart and was known for speaking her mind.

She had one son Ricky Bryant during her union with Delindey Bryant. She later shared in marriage with Jean Pierre Mpouli of Cameron, Africa. She raised her niece Taliah Hudspeth and her children Jada and Elijah as her own.

She was preceded in death by her parents Johnny and Rachel Hudspeth, one brother, Larry Hollis and one sister, Johnnie Ruth Hudspeth Postell.

She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Rickey Bryant; her nephew, George (Karen) Cooper; two children that she raised as her own: Taliah Hudspeth, Jada and Elijah and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
