Ernest Pope

Mr. Ernest Pope Jr., was born January 21, 1962 in New York City to his mother the late Ms. Ozell Whigham. He passed away to be with the Lord on April 15, 2026 in Dothan, Alabama surrounded by loved ones.

He was a member of Alabama Avenue Missionary Baptist Church . He loved to laugh and make people laugh and his hobbies included playing his guitar, singing and fixing on cars. He was raised by his aunt JoAnn Freeman and his favorite cousin Andreta Hawkins, both of Dothan, Alabama.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving wife, Mrs. Cynthia Baker of Dothan Alabama; one son, Bo of Florida; three brothers, Willie Earl, Henry Lee and Calvin E.; two aunts JoAnn Freeman and Edna Morrison; one uncle, Mack Authur Whigham; a host of other family and friends.

He was loved by many people, he loved the Lord, he heard his voice, come on my child.
