Ezzie Charles Floyd

Ezzie affectionately known as Charles, was born in Headland, AL  to Buford & Inez Floyd.

Charles accepted Christ and joined Shiloh Baptist Church. As a young child, the family moved to Dothan, AL. Charles was educated in the Dothan School System and a graduate of Dothan High School class of 1977. After graduation, he enlisted into the US Army. After the military he returned to Dothan where he worked multiple jobs, including the City of Dothan, Dothan Warehouse, and Houston County. Years later he moved to Montgomery, AL and was employed with Veteran's Affairs until his health failed leading to early retirement.

Charles had a pretend hard exterior. He always had a comical comment about everything. He loved family and his joy was being "Uncle Charles."
