Forrest Jones

Mr. Forrest Jones was born September 9, 1953, in Houston County to the late Jimmy Lee and Rosie B. Slater Jones. He was the “baby boy” of the family. He was a loving, caring, and a very humble man. He loved the Lord and loved  fellowshipping by clapping his hands at church.

Mr. Forrest Jones fought a good fight, he finished his course, and earned a new home in the face of the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his sisters: Sarah Nell Pekins, Lillie B.  Jones Stephens, Joyce Jones. Brothers: Jimmy Lee Jones Jr., William Jones, Cecil Jones, Chester Jones, and John Lee Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving niece: Carolyn Perkins (Charles Smith), a very special nephew: Joshua Perkins, who always said, “ I’m  just helping out.” Special nephew: Bobby Jones of Jacksonville, FL., one brother in law: John W. Stephens of Hartford, CT., nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives. A special family friend: Ms. Mary Turner, who was always there. He will be missed dearly.
