Janie Asbie

Sister Janie Asbie was the 4th born to the late Reather Thomas and Ferrel Lee Thomas on January 15, 1953 in Dothan, AL.

She attended Dothan High School and then was a graduate of Daytona Beach Community College. She was employed several years as a nursing assistant and a security guard. She spent the last several years of her life being a caregiver. She was a very loving and caring person. She loved to cook and have family over from time to time.

She attended Trinity Baptist Church where she then later gave her life to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Patricia Michelle Asbie; a special friend Willie (Pouncey) Underwood; one grandchild, Patrice Griffin; four sisters: Annie Mae Stephens, Marie White, Norline Black (Lester), and Barbara Helms (John); two brothers: Roger Lee Russaw (Lizitta), Aaron Jr Russaw (Mae Lucy) and a host of nieces and nephews.
