Kenneth Saffold
On December 31, 2023, Mr. Kenneth Saffold Sr, better known as Kenny, took the Lord’s
hand and entered the Kingdom of Heaven, receiving the greatest grace of eternal
peace, where there is no sadness or tears.
Kenny was born September 29, 1972, to Peggy Parks and Arthur Saffold Jr of Gordon
Alabama, where he lived and attended school. Kenny was a running back in football for
Ashford High School and a graduate of the class of 1991.
In 1994 Kenny married the Love of his life Mrs. Yulanda Saffold, and from this union
they were blessed with two children and began building a life as one.
Kenny was a die-hard fan of Alabama Crimson Tide Football. “ROLL TIDE” Kenny
enjoyed spending time with his dogs, watching sports and making memories with his
kids and his bosses (his grandchildren).
Kenny was proceeded in death by: Grandparents: Arthur Saffold Sr, Carrie Saffold,
Gene Perry, Step Grandfather Bill Brown. Brother: O’Sean Saffold. Uncles: Donald Curl,
Aunt: Mary Jane Saffold Nephew: Maurice Tucker
Kenny leaves to cherish his precious memories with his Loving Wife of 30 years,
Yulanda Saffold, his children Joseph Boyd (Katrina) and Kenneth Saffold Jr (Ke’Miya)
all of Grand Ridge FL, Mother: Peggy Parks (Gene) Father: Arthur Saffold Jr (Deborah)
Grandkids: Jada Coleman, Andre’ya Walker, Isabella Boyd, Calamity (CJ) Boyd and
Jozeph Boyd. Grandmother: Clara Curl Brown. Siblings: Anthony Saffold (Amiree)
Arlesh Saffold. In Laws: Joseph and Barbara Pollock, Sister-in-law: Latosha Pollock,
Brother-in-law: Alex Pollock (Tiffany). Uncles/Aunts: Charlie Saffold (Yvondia), Cynthia
(Roy) McCree, Dan Curl (Felicia), Darlene Rabb, Dwight Curl (Carol), Joyce Curl,
Myshell (Randy) Sol, Ronnie Curl, Tim Curl (Jada). Nieces: Alexis Pollock, Chasity
Pollock, Destiny Pollock, Dominique Rhynes, Keyontia Pollock, Letisha Pollock,
Precious McGriff, Nephews: Alex Pollock Jr, Jeremie Saffold, Stacy Sims,
Zay Peterson and a host of great nieces and nephews. God Children: Jamiracle
Pearson, Kaniela Rhymes, Jasmine Williams, Ja’Tavious Townsend, Christian
Stephenson. Special Friends: Len Kirkland, Travis Smith, Davan Dickey, Abel Smith.
