Marcus Bernard Palmer

Marcus Bernard Palmer was the first born of Jerry and the late Patricia Palmer on March 9, 1965 in Dothan, Alabama.

Marcus was raised with strong family values that guided him throughout his life. He was a proud boy Scout. At an early age he accepted Christ and joined Hines Chapel AME Church in Dothan Alabama. He was a 1984 graduate of North view High School and attended Troy University in Troy Alabama.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Palmer, sister, Nancy Palmer, brother, Aaron Palmer and grandparents.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Ida Palmer; one son, Rocky Williams; four stepchildren, Ivan Thomasson, Kevin Thomasson, Stacey Thomasson and Johnny Johnson Jr.; his father, Jerry Palmer; sisters, Chenika Palmer; one brother, Anthony Palmer; 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; a special brother, Cedric Broach; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends
