Mr.Arthur Moody Lampkin

Arthur Moody Lampkin was born on September 8, 1943 in Houston County Alabama. Having a fascination with cars, he became a car salesman for Economy Auto Sales and worked for 20 plus years. He was a long-haul car transporter and transported vehicles worldwide. For the last twenty-six years, he owned and operated Lampkin's Car Care.

Arthur loved to garden and was known for having a green thumb. He loved growing vegetables, especially collard greens, field peas and okra.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Moody and Sallie Lampkin.

He leaves to cherish many wonderful memories to his wife of fifty six years, Joyce Lampkin; son, Timothy Lampkin of Dothan, AL; daughters: Deborah Frazier (Guy) of Dothan, AL, Wendy Flournoy (Samuel) of Harvest, AL, Erica (Derrick) Dorsey of Fultondale, AL; five grandsons: Christopher McGhee, Derek McGhee, Brandon McGhee, Eric Baker of Dothan, AL and Sean Dorsey of Fultondale, AL; four granddaughters: Shaketa McGhee, Whitney George, We'Quachia Lampkin all of Dothan, AL, and Lauren Seals of Fultondale, AL; nineteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; brothers: Willie Frank Lampkin (Essie) of Dothan, AL, Benjamin Lampkin of Defuniak Springs, FL, Robert Lampkin of Dothan, AL, and Charles (Eileen) of Jersey City, NJ; sisters: Laura (Eugene) Hodge Scott of Dothan, AL, Jackie (Willie) Peoples of Augusta GA, Sandra Diann Lampkin of Stockbridge, GA, Anna Finn of Dothan, AL, Vonda Culver (Julius) of Dothan, AL; two aunts: Tinnie Owens and Evelyn Williams of Dothan, AL, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
