Mr.James Alyon Smith

James Smith was born on February 19, 1965 to the late J.T Smith and Willie Pearl Lawson. He departed this life on June 10, 2021. He fought a good fight until the Lord gave him those golden wings. James was preceded in death by his father, James T. Smith; mother, Willie Pearl Lawson; three sisters: Katie Mae Bulger, Diane McIntyne, and Costellia Hicks. The memory he cherished, he leaves to his wife Angela Smith of Dothan, AL’ three children: Anthony Marshall, Chywanna (Johnathon) Swain, and Jasmine Smith all of Dothan, AL; one grandchild, Journi Swain of Dothan, AL; four godsons: Narte Dawsey, Attrick Dawsey, Dante Dawsey, and Justin Ray; five brothers: Jimmy (Sarah) Smith of Gordon, AL, Doyland (Darlene) Whigan of Atlanta, GA,  Kaywanda (Roberta) Whigan of Maryland, J.B. (Audery) Whigan of Gordon, AL, and Dexter (Dominique) McIntyne of Dothan, AL; four sister Jerlene Battle of Gordon, AL, Debra (Norman) Whigan of Headland, AL, Annie (Cardo) Orange of Dothan, AL, and one sister-in-law, Ethel Marshall of Kinsey, AL; four brothers-in-law: James Marshall of Dothan, AL, Mark (Denise) Marshall of Lawton, OK, Robert (Sharon) Marshall of Dothan, AL, and Rufus (Mekia) Marshall of Dothan, AL; a special auntie, Eddie Lou Wilson of Kinsey, AL, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and seven special friends: William Cain, Chris Rodgers, Scotty Harrison, Robert Mathis, Roy Cain, Stanley Brown and Jerry Thompson.
