Mr. John Willie Wesley Sr.

Mr. John Wesley Sr. was born May 29, 1945 in Gordon, AL. to the late Annie Lee Wesley and Hezekiah Thomas. On October 21, 2022, at his home, he went peacefully to be with the Lord. He was 77 years of age.

Mr. John Wesley Sr. farmed  for over 40 years with Jeffcoat Farms until his early retirement. Later in life he accepted Christ as his       personal  Savior.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Annie Lee Wesley and     Hezekiah Thomas; his wife of 47 years,  Annie Lee Wesley, one daughter: Lawanda Wesley, one great grand daughter: Purpose Annie Lee Nash, two brothers: Jessie Gosha, Augusta Grimsley Sr. and one sister: Lena Mae Wesley.

He leaves  to cherish his memories, eight sons: Rev. John ( Arylica) Wesley Jr., of Webb, Al., Ira (Shawanna) Wesley of Ashford, AL.,   Terrance  (Kimberly) Wesley of Cowarts, AL., Rickey Wesley, Fredrick Wesley, Mickey Wesley, Reginald Wesley all of Gordon, AL. Davin (Jessica) Wesley of Dothan, AL.,  five daughters: Laura (Jerrmiah) Salter of  Webb, AL., Sabrina (Willie) Knight of Gordon, AL., Roshonda (Jemmie) Watford of Stone Mountain, GA., Vanessa (Joseph) Percival, Virginia Buggs all of Decatur, GA., one sister: Julia Johnson, one brother: Hezekiah Thomas Jr., three sister-in- laws:  Marene, Evelyn, and  Helen Smith od Donalsonville, GA., one      nephew: Augusta Grimsley Jr. of Gordon, AL., 41– grandchildren, 29 - great grandchildren, a host of relatives and friends.

Two special daughter-in-laws: Shawna Wesley and Mary Johnson
