Mr. Roy Lee King

Roy Lee King was born January 4, 1943 to the late John and Annie King. Roy departed this early life on Friday, September 4, 2020.

In Roy’s early years, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working in his yards. He worked in construction for many years and retired from Cooking Good Chicken Plant.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents: John and Annie King; his wife, Marene King; one son, “Pap” Newby; one brother, J.D. King and sisters: Mary King, Louise King Jackson, Annie Lizzy King Austin, and Patricia King.

Roy leaves to cherish his memories daughters: Hazel Malone, Ida Newby, Annie Lucy Newby, Sharon Rodgers Bailey, and Dianetha King; sons: Juan Brooks and  Fabian Jackson; grandchildren; two brothers: John (Mary) King and Harold (Marie) King and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A special friend Mary Ann Newby.
