The late Samuel Cameron, Junior was born May 20, 1952, to the union of Sam Cameron and Easter Mae (Wilcox)
Cameron. The Lord graciously called him home on August 31, 2020. Samuel was a fun-loving person. He had a big loud laugh; his eyes would light up, he would often title his head back as he laughed. Samuel was easy mannered, he had a smooth coolness about him. He attended Price High School, Atlanta, Ga.
He joined the United States Army in 1970 where he served a split 6 tour of 6 years ending in 1983. Samuel also served a team in the Army National Guard. He moved to Daleville in 1982 where he ended his military career and
began a civil service career at Fort Rucker, Alabama as a Firefighter in 1983. He had a wonderful career as a
firefighter. He also worked as a security guard for several years. As you can see he was service-oriented from his
career. Samuel moved to Dothan, AL in 1998 where he lived until the end.
He was preceded in death by his parents (Sam and Easter Mae Cameron) (Sister) Lula Mae Davis, (Brothers) Charles Wilcox & Emmett Cameron.
Samuel leaves to cherish his loving members: A loving (Wife) Elizabeth Cameron (Daughter) Yakeda Cameron of Atlanta, GA; (Son) Octavious Cameron of Colorado Springs, CO; (Stepson) Steve Parrise, and (wife) Sheria of Dothan, AL; and two (stepdaughters) Tina & Contessa Williams of Daleville, AL, Grandchildren: Mellia Cameron, Dequavious Patillo, Kayla Cameron, Jerimya Cameron, Lufther Cameron, and Amber Cameron. (Samuel’s brothers) Linnell Cameron, and John Cameron (wife) Jesse of Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
