He is proceeded in death by his father William D. Welch Sr., Mother Edith Pearl Welch and sisters, Mary P. Morris, Annie Jewel Welch Williams, Gladys Jackson, and Laura Wesson. One surviving brother Reverend Robert Earl (Jacquelyn) Welch of Orlando, Fl.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his children Angela (Andrew) Newson, Anthony (Dianne) Bighems of Dothan, Al, Dr. Scotty (Mary) Walker Gurnee, Il; William E. (Ramona) Walker of Sacramento, Ca; Shelia Kelly, Dorinda Stokes, Rita Bighems of Dothan, AL., Curtis Bighems of Enterprise, AL. Grandchildren; Cierra, Morgan, Anrico, Kaneshia (Jonathan), Jeremy (Jazmine), Dejearo, Anthony Jr., Christian (Hydia), Shakera, Donte, William E. II, and Alyssa. Eighteen Great grandchildren. A special daughter-in-law Dianne Bighems. Special thanks to Southern Care of Dothan, AL.
