Nuite Drew Sherman Sr.

Nuite Drew Sherman Sr., 50, of Dothan, departed this life Friday, September 9, 2011. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Unity Funeral Home.      Sergeant First Class Nuite Drew Price Sherman Sr. was born on October 25, 1960 to the late N.D. Price and later on he became the step son of Sergeant First Class Roland E. Sherman. As a young man, Drew served in the U.S. Army for approximately 24 years, and while he was enlisted he met a beautiful woman named Terri, who would later become the wife of three of his children.     Drew has accomplished so much in his short life span, like for example, he received an Honors Bachelor Degree in Science as well as Liberal Arts Degree despite the fact he was a disabled veteran. Drew will be ultimately missed by his mother, Willie N. Sherman; wife: Terri Estelle Sherman; sisters: Grace Lloyd, Melinda Edwards, Michelle Thomas; brother, Roland Sherman; children: Tierra Gilmore, Bierra Gilmore, Sheresa Sherman, Nuite (Nicholadicus) Sherman Jr.; four grandchildren; eight aunts, five uncles, and a host of family and friends.
