Patrick Rodnod Smith was born June 29, 1965 to Odell Smith and Gracie Smith Caldwell in Blakely Georgia. The family later moved to Dothan Alabama where he remains a significant part of his life. A passionate sports enthusiast Pat played football throughout his years at Dothan High School, however his culinary talents shone brightly well. He worked as a chef in various restaurants around Dothan and North Carolina, showcasing his culinary skills.

Pat was truly one of a kind. The life of any party, a presence that left an incredible mark on everyone he met. While he may have occasionally ruffled feathers, his infectious laughter and ability to bring joy to a room made it impossible to stay mad for long. Pat had a unique gift for making people laugh, spreading happiness and reminding everyone around him to cherish life. Even during his darkest moments, Pat's positive energy and warm personality could light up any room. People naturally gravitated towards his genuine warmth, hospitality and ability to make everyone feel welcome and included. Just being around Pat meant laughter, engaging conversations and creating unforgettable memories.

Pat's love was boundless and when he cared for someone he did it so deeply and he was fiercely protective of those he loved. Beneath his larger-than-life persona laid a loyal heart and a man who valued the people closest to him. His laughter, humor generosity and unmistakable spirit will be deeply missed. While his absence leaves an empty space that cannot be filled, the joy he brought into the lives of others will continue to live on in every story shared, every laugh exchanged and every cherished memory. Pat will be remembered not only for his vibrant personality but also for the love, light and laughter he freely gave to those fortunate enough to know him.

Pat is preceded in death by his parents Odell Smith and Gracie Smith Caldwell; sister, Wanda Lee and grandparents Addie Lampkin and Willie Lampkin
