Polly Townsend

A Time To Be Born:

On Thursday August 18, 1955 , the late Rosie Bell Townsend and the late Leonard Townsend welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world. Born in Alabama, she was one of eleven children.

A Time To Rest:

Our beloved Polly Ann Townsend transitioned from this life on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at the age of 70. She was preceded in death by five siblings, Robert Townsend, Rose Cummins, Dedra Townsend, Betty Kay Warren and Larry Townsend.

Polly was a partner to Mr. Danny Dawkins; a mother to Michael Townsend Sr.; grandmother to Michael Townsend Jr., Andrew Townsend, Isaiah Armour-Townsend and Aiden Armour-Townsend; a great-grandmother to Kaysen Townsend; siblings: Alvin Townsend, Timmy Townsend, Jimmy Townsend, Jerry Townsend and Junior Townsend.

She also leaves behind sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, and a host of nieces, nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.
