Renee Kennedy

Renee Kennedy (August 15, 1957 - June 22, 2024) 

Renee Kennedy, age 66 of Dothan passed away on 22 June, 2024. 

Renee was born on August 15, 1957 in Newark, New Jersey to Retha and William Kennedy Sr. She graduated from Irvington High School in 1975 and then attended Essex County College where she received a Degree in Health Sciences. She was also a member of the Eastern Star Sorority. 

Renee went on to attend Concorde Cosmetology School in Bloomfield, New Jersey where she earned her Cosmetology License. As Renee transitioned into her professional life, she spearheaded a 20 year career as a Dialysis Technician at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey.

Renee is Survived by her brother William Kennedy Jr. Niece: Toya Kennedy Nephew: William D. Kennedy, Deshaun Kennedy, Jalil Grant Great Nieces: Qua'aja Chapman, Tanaijah Kennedy, Dayanah Cheeks-Kennedy, Tionna Mertens-Kennedy Great Nephews: Daquann Chapman, Khalee Kennedy, Damari Cheeks She is preceded in death by her parents William Kennedy Sr and Retha Kennedy.
