Robert Gene Peterson
Robert Gene Peterson passed away on April 13, 2026 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama. He lived in St. Petersburg Florida most of his life. He worked for the City of Ashford and CSX Railroad.
Robert was born to the late Theodore and Cora Lee Peterson on June 1, 1943.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Clemmie McGriff and Mary Jean Peterson; two brothers, R. Lee Peterson and L. V. Peterson; his first wife Louzell Long Peterson.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his children: Wendy (Abraham) Scott, Charles Peterson, Robert Peterson Jr., Marissa (Christopher) Bell, LouAnn Peterson, Sondra Peterson, Tiffany (Alex) Pollock, Fredrick Shaw; sisters, Clara Mae Brown, Mary Caine, Annie Dixon, Ruby Futch; brothers, Arthur (Retha) Peterson, RC Peterson; twenty-four grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, others relative and friends; the love of his life Barbara Ann Gray.
