Sarah Nell Dover

Sarah Nell Dover, a beloved daughter of the late Fletcher Branyon and Marie Anderson Branyon was born April 19, 1930 in Fayette Alabama.

Sarah Nell received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was a faithful member of the New Bethel Baptist Church of Dothan, Alabama until her demise, 1 November 2019.

She attended Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama and then married the love of her life, Marion Cleophus Dover on November 15, 1952 in Columbus Mississippi.  To this union, one son and four daughters were born.

Sarah Nell was preceded in death by her parents: Fletcher and Marie Branyon, sister: Tiny Mae Lokey Kemp, brother: Alfred Lee Branyon, John F. Branyon, Joe Lois Branyon, and granddaughter, Janell Monet Reeves.

She is survived by her loving husband Marion Cleophus Dover; children: Anita Joyce Foster (Arthur) of Dothan, Alabama, Michael Royce Dover of Dothan Alabama, Merita Saunders of Dothan Alabama, Barbara Denouva LaVar, (Thomas “Lennie” whom she considered her second son) of Ozark, Alabama, Cleopatra Dover-Stanonik (Peter) of Killeen, Texas; siblings: Willie Nell Jackson of Birmingham, Alabama, and Evelyn McDougle of Detroit Michigan; 25 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
