Verna Elizabeth Shepherd

Verna Elizabeth Shepherd was born on February 3, 1962 to late Clara and Samuel Thames.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers: Kenneth Rabb, Michael Sanders, and Robert Sanders.

She leaves to cherish her memories her beautiful loving daughter Vestacia (Quentin) Braswell, three grandchildren: Rashion (Meci), Zya (Quay), Chad (Leigh Anne), three great grandchildren: De’Zyrion, Ja’Nyliah, Ja’Nygiah; three brothers: Arthur (Evonne) Sanders, Warren (Linda) Thames, Lavell (Kathleen) Thames; one sister: Beverly (Ronald) Davis, six bonus sisters: Loretta Davis, Bernadine Dixon, Janice Allen, Ruby McCants, Pamela Lamb, Daisy Mae Dalton, two god daughters: Lawana King, Catayshia Harris, special daughters: Yolanda Lynn, Tywanda Batten, Shamyra Dunbar, Lashonon Price, special sons/ nephews: Vincent Sanders, Murray Love, Damien Dixon, Kent Dixon, Paul Allen III, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, as well as many beloved friends, and special friend Jimmy King.
