Mr. Victor Rosanno Greenwood was born September 14, 1976 to Ruby and Roosevelt Greenwood.
Victor enjoyed playing little league baseball where he made his mother very proud as she cheered for him after hitting balls over the fence at the City of Dothan Recreation Center. Victor was a quiet gentle spirit. He was a person of few words with wisdom beyond his years that he fostered from his grandfather Robert McGlon and his Greenwood uncles.
Victor was baptized at Stringer Street AME Church at an early age where he was a member of the Sunday school and youth choir. He remained a life long member.
Victor attended Northview High School and participated in the VICA program earning several honors for his outstanding talent of printing skills. Later in life, Victor was employed with the Dothan Eagle Newspaper where he continue to perfect his skills. As Victor’s health declined, he joined the team at Hungry Howies Pizza as a driver. Victor took pride in pleasing the customers he served daily. Victor would jokingly boast about the number of people that called and requested him by name.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Annie Tillman.
Victor leaves to cherish his memories his caring, loving, patient and attentive mother, Ruby Greenwood and father Roosevelt Greenwood; one son, Vienta Greenwood of Dothan, AL; two sisters, Tamara Greenwood of Douglasville, GA and Felicia (Darren) Koonce of Dothan, AL; two nephews: Christopher Trawick of Jacksonville, Fl, Stephen Trawick; two great nephews: Tyler and Elijah Trawick Dothan, AL; aunties: Kathy Haynes, Betty (Phillip) Lee, Ruth Reynolds, Millie Tillman, Patsy Greenwood, Barbara Greenwood all of Dothan, AL, and Jeweline Dunlap of Houston, TX; a special cousin, Timothy Reynolds of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a special friend, Delecias Leake and a host of cousins and friends
