William Ralph Montgomery

Mr. Willie Ralph Montgomery (Bud or Bill) was born July 6th, 1935, in Early County Georgia, to Mandie Davis and Tommie Montgomery who preceded him in death along with 5 siblings. He is survived by one sister, Bessie South. He passed away peacefully on May 26th at his home in Dothan, Alabama.

He most recently resided in Dothan but was a traveling soul throughout his life. He lived in many places. In his youth, he enlisted in the military (ARMY) and traveled the world. He was baptized on November 1, 1964 as a Jehovah's Witness and happily served many congregations (up and down the east coast). Upon his return to Alabama, he continued to serve, making many friends at both North and East Congregations.

In his previous marriage to Christine Starling together they raised 9 children: Laera J. Starling, Ray C. Starling, Keith (Adele) Montgomery, Mark (Katrina) Montgomery, William Montgomery, Sandra (Ladon) Montgomery, Lamar B. Montgomery, Wendell E. Montgomery and Ginger Arlene Montgomery (decreased).

20 grandchildren, and a host of great grands, 2 special great grands- Sariah Johnson/Jazriah Whigham. Special thanks to many friend from East and North congregations. As well as Gentiva Hospice.
