On December 24, 1951, James Earl Curry was born to the proud parents of Robert Lee and Annie Bell (Dunlap) Curry. Early-on in life he joined the Greater Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, where he was active as an usher and was loved by everyone. Mr. James Earl Curry departed this world on June 13, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Mary J Harrell, brothers Robert Benjamin Curry, Willie Robert Curry, and Ronald Jackson. He leaves to celebrate his life, his son James Edward Curry (fiance Vandera), and his mother Annie B. Ford; His loving sister Rev. Annie P. Newby (Curry) future brother-in-law Gerome Merritt; her son Robert S. Newby (Barbara Newby, wife and son’s Robert Newby Jr. and Jace Newby) of San Antonio, Texas; Willie Robert Curry and Sister-in- law Ola Mae Curry and (their children Elizabeth, Robert, Melissa, Anthony, Tonya, and Chris Curry); Brother, Michael Jackson (Lisa Mclindon) and their daughter Brittany McLendon; Brother, Robert Benjamin Curry, (his children Wesley Rabb (Bobbie Jean Rabb), Nytosha Martin of Atlanta, Ga (Retha Martin); Dexter Curry, Pat Curry, Michelle and Anwar Curry of Detroit, Michigan; Sister, Mary Harrell (JoeHarrell) and son, Dejuan Harrell of Detroit, Michigan; Brother, Ronald Jackson, (Sister-in-law Theretha Hightower) her children Rodrick Hightower, Demetrius Hightower, Ronald Hightower, and Xavier Hightower; Brother, Charles Jackson and his family in Pennsylvania; Special Aunt Ruby Terry of Orlando, FL; Very special cousin Ruth Bay Reeves; Close friends James Brooks and Davale Culver; And a host of cousins, nephews, family and friends.
