Christopher McLeod was called home on Tuesday April 12, 2022.
He was born on March 9, 1970 in Ashford, AL., he was the second son of the late Cathy Mae McLeod. He attended Ashford High School and played basketball. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend.
He was a die hard Auburn fan and had a great heart for people.
His famous words were, “you hear what I’m saying” and “you feel me”.
He loved to grill, cook, listen to music, dancing with his wife, playing cards, playing dominoes, going to the park, going out to eat, fishing, playing basketball, loved the beach, fixing on his truck and he loved to talk.
He is preceded in death by: his mother: Cathy Mae McLeod, his grandmother: Annie B. McLeod, his grandfather: James McLeod., aunts:
Laura Mae McLeod Smith, Janice Marie McLeod Maybin, uncles:
Willie James Mcleod, and Milton Lee McLeod.
He is survived by his beautiful loving wife; Lavada Tellis McLeod, one beautiful daughter; Rashena (Zavier) Franklin, two handsome sons; Kristopher Blake Graham (Christin Paige), Nicholas Taye McLeod (Taya Sullivan). One bonus son: Jimmy G. Brantley. Eight grandchildren, one brother ,Terry McLeod ;mother in law: Mary Ann Tellis, five brother in laws, four sister in laws, one God sister, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and lots of friends.
