On Sunday April 4, 2021, Gene Douglas Burks “aka”(Geno-Stoney) passed away at the
age of 60 years old.
Gene Burks was the first born grandchild to (Grandfather and Grandmother) Cleveland and
Annie Rae Burks born on May 25th, 1960 in Clio, Al to (Father) James Gibson and (Mother)
Mittie Jo Burks preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memories wife (Mary Ann
Burks), three children, (daughter) Jacqueline Luckett from Elba, Al. (son) Marvin(Alekika)
Luckett from Vidalia, Ga, and (son) Brian Luckett from Elba, Al. One sister Jacqueline
(Demetrius) Clark, from Ozark, Al and two brothers Stafford Burks, Montgomery, Al. and
Dexter (Jennifer) Currington, Samson Al. Six nieces, Nichole(Rashad) Mcyntire, Ozark Al,
Kimberly(Herman) Walker, Kinsey, Al. Indya(Joshua) Thomas, Ozark Al, Kali Witchard, NC,
Ashley, Ozark, Al, Latonya,Tennessee, and one nephew Dexter Currington Jr. with a host of
great nieces and nephews. A ”Special Companion “Bettie Turner & Stepchildren Douglas, Katrina, John
Jones, Pamela Deloach. Grandchildren Aunts Uncles Niguel Luckett Annie Grace Burks(Deceased)
