Ms. Willie Faye Jones

Ms. Willie Faye Jones departed this life and went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, February 24, 2023         surrounded by her loving and devoted mother who took care of her until she departed this life. She was also surrounded by her    loving  family. She was 64 years old.

Affectionately known as “Petticoat” she was a loving and

devoted mother, grandmother, sister aunt and never turned her back on anyone who needed her. She became a mother to many     outside of her family who she treated just as her own. She was beautiful inside and out.  She loved cooking, playing cards,  dominos and gatherings at her home. Her smile was radiant and contagious.  “Petticoat “ was a member Pleasant Grove         Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board and remained faithful even though her vision was                  impaired. She worked for ten years at Extendicare Health     Center and later retired.

“Petticoat” was preceded in death by: her father JD Carroll,  four brothers; Wilton Carroll, JD Carroll Jr., Robert Earl     Carroll, and Willie James Carroll. One sister Jannie Bee      Carroll, one nephew Lafayette Magwood III, son-in-law   Cutedius Bond, and sister –in-law Donella Carroll.

She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving mother Lizzie    Carroll, three daughters; Keitha Carroll, Danielle Carroll, Johnetta Carroll,  three sisters;  Mary Dean Magwood,         Gearldean (Carl) Fields, Carolyn (Thomas) Reynolds, two brothers; Johnny Ray Carroll, Marcus Lee Carroll, seven      grandchildren; Dajah Hill, Tamia Reed, Chance Venable, Atajah Parks, Nevah Parks, Tyheim Chambers, Eric Robinson II, seven great grandchildren, two special nieces; Chenelle  Magwood, Angela Fields,  special nephews  Kendrale Magwood, Chris Carroll, James Parrish, Willie Carl Fields a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
